This picture really speaks for itself, it is a woman trying to speak but it seems that someone, assumingely a male is trying to stop her from talking. When I see this picture, I think about the abortion law that is happening across the world. Men are deciding what a woman should do with her baby when she is pregnant, which is keeping it whether they like it or not. Men abuse their power of being stronger than women, by deciding what they should do, which is why feminist want equal rights for women. Every time a woman is trying to speak up, it seems that they are overlooked and ignored because she is a woman.
People deal with an abusive relationship, whether it is with a family member or boyfriend/girlfriend. Those with more power than the other, would abuse that power and become abusive towards the other. In some situations, one would be demanding, telling them to do something for them or they would be physically or verbally abused. In ‘romantic’ relationships, that other cannot leave that person abusing him/her because they are just purely scared to what that person can do if they leave. At home, domestic violence is a real problem where someone is being hurt, and cannot do anything as they live with the person and is scared what that family member can do to them when police is called. It is crazy to see how abusive people are, especially with people whom they “love”, which is why helping someone who we know that is being abused is much needed today, we just can’t leave such thing happen to these innocent people. The downfall in situations like these are when they are put into jail.
